Future meetings: This includes an annual AGM plus ad hoc meeting to discuss something specific that the group requests or that branch feels needs group discussion e.g. a change in local legislation or support offer. If you have a suggestion for speakers or topics do please let us know.
Who can attend Branch Meetings: These meetings are particularly for parents and carers of adults who have Autism or Asperger syndrome, living in the Avon area (Bristol, South Glos, BaNES & North Somerset). Autistic adults are welcome.
Cost: There is no charge, although a contribution to pay for the refreshments would be appreciated to help branch funds.

Branch meeting and AGM - Tuesday 20th September. Well attended session, re-electing branch members and listening to Milestones about their services and plans for the future... really interesting discussions. Thank you to everyone who attended, it's great to have the support of each other. Please see the meeting minutes and a presentation produced by milestones for all the details.

NAS Avon Branch Meeting & AGM

The first 15 mins was to be the AGM for the election of Branch Officer, Treasurer and Committee Members.
We were pleased to be welcoming Andrew Powell, to talk about The Bristol Asperger Social Group. The Bristol Asperger Social Group is a charity developed to provide social contact for people who have a diagnosis or suspected diagnosis of Asperger syndrome or high functioning autism. Currently there are three monthly activities - the pub group, club/bands night and a creative writers group.
